For only art and science can raise men to the level of gods.
Ludwig van Beethoven to Emilie M., July 17, 1812
If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music.
Albert Einstein to G. S. Viereck, October 26, 1929
Welcome to my website.
Announcement: NEW CDs available
If you enjoy concert music with melody and mostly functional harmonies, my music might appeal to you. I hope you will give some of the samples here a listen to find out. I’m not trying to sell anything—yet—but these works are on a preliminary CD I’ve sent to many classical radio stations around the United States and to a few countries overseas. I hope that some stations will play my Elegy for Strings—November 1963 for the 50-year commemoration of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. The Elegy was composed as those terrible and shocking events were unfolding, making it a musical eyewitness account of the emotions those events evoked. The other works span the subsequent half century and represent some of my interests as a composer. The works on this preliminary CD will become part of a 2-disc set when the project is finished.
All works are performed by the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra under the direction of David Hernando Rico
and are available for broadcast.
